Cappuccino in the Morning - How to Make Your Own

Cappuccino is a rich, dark coffee whose recipe originated in Italy. The name cappuccino actually comes from the resemblance of its color to the robes of the monks of the Capuchin order.
Cappuccino has a large volume of foam making it a light weight drink and less filling than other coffees. You need to take equal parts of frothed and steamed milk and espresso, the milk being on top of the espresso. You can then sprinkle any number of toppings on your cappuccino, such as nutmeg, cinnamon or chocolate powder.
Start With Good Espresso
To make a good cappuccino you have to start with good espresso, which you get from doing the following: Grind the beans fine, press the espresso down firmly, use a high pressure machine or stove top model, don’t make too much at once, the creama must be visible on top as a golden-brown foam, and use an espresso cup to keep the temperature from cooling down too quickly.
The Difference between a Cappuccino and a Latte
Lattes are also half espresso and half milk. If you are wondering what the difference is between a latte and a cappuccino, with a latte you take the milk and espresso and pour the milk down the side of the cup so it mixes with the espresso.
Making the Froth
Where does the frothed milk come from for cappuccinos and for lattes? If using a French press for a foamer, heat a cup of non-fat milk in a microwave or on the stove to a temperature that is not too hot for you, pouring it into a plunger pot that has been rinsed. Pump the plunger in the pot for a few minutes and the milk will expand to three to four times its volume, creating the froth for your cappuccino (or latte).
Getting Your Own Cappuccino Maker
If you have a coffee addiction, you may want to shop for a cappuccino coffee maker so you can make your own at home. A nice characteristic about the counter top model is it can steam milk for cappuccino and latte’s. When purchasing a cappuccino maker keep in mind that if you entertain frequently, you may want to shop for a cappuccino machine that makes several cups of cappuccino at one time.
Conclusion
Once classed as luxuries, many items of equipment such as grinders, cappuccino makers, espresso makers, and other drinks makers now adorn homes all over the world. By having your own equipment and making your cappuccino at home you save money.
Another great benefit is being able to make yourself some cappuccino whenever you want. Running out to purchase a cup of your favorite coffee will be a thing of the past. You simply walk to your kitchen and put together your favorite brew.

Home Value Trends in Minnesota

Real estate is an investment, so make sure you’re moving somewhere your home value is likely to appreciate decently over the years. But if you’re like me, you probably can’t tell the future, so how are you supposed to figure that one out? Simple: good, old fashioned research. Research the past home value and rate of sale trends in a specific area, as well as its population, job opportunities, economy, unemployment rates and the attractions it holds to visitors. Those various factors can give you a fair idea of where home values in a given area may be headed over the years.
Minnesota, home of the Twin Cities (one of which, St. Paul, is the capital city) has a population of about 5,167,101. Their economy is based on agricultural products such as: dairy, corn, cattle, soybeans, hogs, wheat and turkeys and on industrial sectors such as machinery, food processing, printing and publishing, fabricated metal products, electric equipment, mining and tourism. With a large population and a strong economy, it’s obvious Minnesota is a favorable spot to live, which usually means high home value averages and faster sales. Of course, the tourism factor and attractions an area has to offer can have a big impact on the amount of new residents drawn in as well.
Minnesota has tons of state parks for outdoor adventures such as camping, hiking, fishing, biking, boating, landscape and wildlife viewing, etc. The state can be broken into 4 main sections, each offering it’s own unique attractions. The Northwest/Central area has the largest lakes, prairies and bogs, it is the source of the Mississippi River and the is the home of the legend of Paul Bunyon, the famous bigger than life lumberjack. There are plenty of resorts to stay in with golfing, music and theater, museums and historical sites readily available. The Northeast region is the scene of many lakes, tumbling rivers and lush forests, perfect for the outdoor recreations mentioned earlier. The Southern portion of Minnesota is all about scenic valleys, wooded bluffs and peaceful prairies. Numerous historic sites honoring Dakota Indians and the pioneers alike are spread throughout the area, as are antique shops, historic architecture and ethnic festivals.
Last but not least is the Metro area, the home of the Twin Cities, where hip, urban Minneapolis meets gentrified, historical St. Paul. A wide spectrum of metropolitan experiences is the result, including, but not limited to: art, history and science museums, stage performances, zoos, family-friendly entertainment, shopping, a live music scene, dining, clubbing, bar hopping and theater. The area combines urban comforts with a beautiful natural setting including lakes, rivers, parks and trees. With so much to do, and a large metropolitan area, it’s a fair bet to say home value prices, at least in the metro area, are constantly on the rise.
Minnesota also has middle to low unemployment rate, staying steady at about 4.6% over the past couple months, with a rise in jobs in trade, transportation and utilities and education and health services. Government, construction and manufacturing jobs seem to have slipped somewhat. The median household income was about $52,024, higher than the national median and the median home value sales price in 2006 was about $235,000. The median home value in April 2007 was $260, 277.
In Minneapolis, the average value of a single family home is about $255,000. As long as sellers are willing to price their homes fairly, homes are still moving. St. Paul has an average home value of about $235,000. The average days spent on the market is a bit less than 90. The rural areas of Minnesota are bound to have lower home values but the homes probably don’t get sold as fast. However, if Minnesota stays on course, and job opportunities continue to arise, there’s no reason why home value averages can’t continue to rise steadily over the next few years.

Copywriting With Google’s Dynamic Keyword Insertion Tool
July 11th, 2008 by hryearaddthis_pub = ‘articlecity’; addthis_logo = ‘http://www.articlecity.com/images/addthis.png’;addthis_logo_background = ‘ffffff’;addthis_logo_color = ‘000000′;addthis_brand = ‘ArticleCity.com’;addthis_options = ‘email, favorites, delicious, digg, facebook, fark, furl, google, live, myweb, myspace, newsvine, reddit, slashdot, stumbleupon, technorati, twitter, more’;

In case you’re unfamiliar with dynamic keyword insertion (DKI), it’s a feature of Google’s AdWords program. It is often used for large campaigns in order to automatically insert the keyword into the headline of an ad. Truly, it’s a lifesaver for many pay-per-click (PPC) ad managers who have to stay on top of thousands of ads every day. It’s all done with a simple syntax command: {keyword:_______}.
From a timesaving standpoint, this is a wonder tool that has rescued PPC managers from the mind-numbing chore of typing the same keywords over and over. From an economic point-of-view, DKI *can* (not always) perform well enough to make it a viable option for larger campaigns. But what happens with regard to copywriting and eye tracking?
See It and Click It
The human eye is normally drawn to things that are unusual. Things that look out of place or different get noticed far more than things that blend in. For instance, on a page full of black text and black & white photographs, a small red square in the bottom corner will get focused on almost immediately. Why? Because it is completely different than everything else around it.
This same principle applies when considering your copywriting strategy for AdWords. When using DKI, you’ll want to keep your eye on the results pages. Why? We’ve all heard that using the keyphrase in the headline pulls better. It does… most of the time. There is an exception, however. This exception is what you’ll be watching.
In fact, a study done last year by Enquiro, Did-It and Eyetools tracked users’ interactions with the Google search results page. It found that surfers normally reviewed the page in an F formation. They would scan vertically down the left side of the page and then over to the right (where paid ads are) *IF* something caught their attention. That’s the point we’ll explore in this article.
In order to get clicks, you first have to get seen. If your ad looks and reads like all the rest, you’ve completely lost your originality advantage.
See For Yourself
Copywriting using DKI is a balancing act. You have to consider several factors, including the character count of your longest keyphrase, your ability to add text to the keyword-rich headline and how the ad looks on the page.
Take a look at some examples below. Remember that AdWords results show differently at various points throughout the day (and in relation to individual account parameters), so you may not see exactly what I saw when doing this research. I’m sure it will be close enough for you to get the idea.
Go to Google and type in the phrase “cruise vacation center” (without using the quote marks). See how all the ads look different? They don’t all have the same words bolded. They don’t all use the same copy. The bold words stand out because they are different. In this case, your eye will usually go first to the ads with bolded words in the headline.
You see ads offering a 6-night cruise for $xx.xx and other ads promoting X% off on a cruise vacation, etc. There is diversity and that’s a good thing.
Now, what if you type in “home improvement”? (Again, without the quotes.) If your results page looks like mine, practically every ad has the exact same headline: home improvement. Not only do most of the ads look the same, the headlines read the same. Your eye doesn’t know where to go because everything seems identical. But wait! About four or five ads down, something catches your eye. It’s an ad that has no bold in the headline. That stands out because it’s different! As you scroll further down the page, more ads with no bold in the headlines pop out at you. In this case, because everyone else has opted for the DKI feature, their headlines are all very similar, making them less noticeable. But the ones who wrote custom headlines won out, thanks to diversity.
Tips for Writing With DKI
If you want or need to write using the DKI option, consider these tips:
1. Use a descriptive word along with your keyphrase. Instead of just inserting the phrase “airline tickets,” place the word “discount” or “cheap” before your keyphrase to help it stand out.
2. For keyphrases that will take the entire 25-character limit, consider using one word of the keyphrase in the headline, instead of the entire phrase. Rather than “home improvement,” try inserting just “home” or “improvement” along with other text you write yourself.
3. Keep it applicable. Your headline still has to convey a strong message about what the customer can expect at your site.
4. Test & Track! Everything in advertising is subject to change. Smart marketers always test and track to get the best results.
With a little forethought, you can develop a combination of DKI and custom-written AdWords ads that drive qualified visitors to your site.

Tween Demon ‘Spa Day’ Birthday Idea - Your Twelve Year Old Daughter Will Love It!

You think you had it bad when little Susie cut her bangs into some crazy porcupine looking do at the sweet age of 3? Just wait until same darling Susie hits the ripe old age of 12 and begins entering adolescence and starts watching MTV. Overnight your little sweet heart will grow horns and objects will begin moving around your house on their own. Yes, your precious daughter will be possessed by the Tween Demon.
What does all of the above nonsense have to do with your soon-to-be-possessed 12 year old daughter’s birthday party planning? Nothing much really, other than the fact that said demon child will also no longer think that anything you do or suggest or think or wear is a good idea, and will constantly roll her mean little eyes at you to make sure you’re aware of your short-comings. In other words Mom or Dad, don’t bother trying to plan a nice birthday for your kid that involves Barbies, animals, cartoon characters, Princesses or anything else made by Disney, except for perhaps Hillary Duff, but she’s another story now that she’s all grown up, and in my lowly opinion, part of the problem. But don’t quote me.
Now you’re sitting there wondering ‘What in the world am I going to do?’, ‘This bitter woman has scared the heck out of me!’, ‘Will Susie really become a monster overnight?’ Fortunately my friend the answer is ‘maybe.’ So better grin and prepare for the worst just to be safe. On to devising a plan for your daughter’s birthday that will perhaps grant you a minute or two of ‘coolness’ in your child’s eyes, and maybe even warrant an actual smile from her eye-rolling face and ‘oh my god mom’ chanting mouth.
I have an idea. Now this may sound sneaky and a little underhanded, but you could always make up some kind of ‘flyer’ on your computer and anonymously mail it to your kid. She’ll love getting her own mail, and if she takes the bait, she’ll think the birthday party idea was her own. On this little bit of creative advertising you could place info about the perfect birthday party idea for girls ages 10-12.
Something that my now 14 year old daughter fell madly in love with at around age 12 are bath and body products. Showers went on, and still do, forever, causing many uncomfortable moments for the males in the house who weren’t wearing diapers at the time (one bathroom…) She couldn’t get enough of the stuff, and wanted to be taken to the mall to the ‘Bath and Body’ store every weekend. My own facial and spa products began to disappear as the Tween Demon consumed everything that involved baths and masks. I’ll never forget the slumber party where a table of demons sat around with pore strips on their noses, in total awe of their extreme coolness.
Are you following where I’m going with this devious plan to outsmart the Tween Demon? On your flyer you will place all of the products and ideas needed to plan a wonderful ‘Spa Day’ Birthday party, just perfect for 12 year old girls. She’ll go nuts for it and will call her friends to get the plans started.
Now of course there are exceptions to the rule, and not every 12 year old girl will go for the idea of pampering and manicures, but you should know your own kid well enough to determine if ‘Spa Day’ is the theme to use. If not, choose a theme that goes along with the stuff hanging up on her bedroom walls. But let her think it’s her own idea, and then applaud her for her creativity and provide what she needs for a perfect Tween Demon birthday party.
Remember to stay out of the way, but close enough to show you’re supporting her and still around. TD’s are very much like TT’s aka: Terrible Twos, adamantly determined to proclaim their independence, but yet will still look over their shoulder every now and then to make sure you’re there. Have fun with your Demon. They grown up too fast. To find some fun and easy home-made spa recipes girls will love to make at their party, visit Natural You Mineral Makeup.com.

Install New Money Buttons And Feel Your Way To Financial Freedom
July 8th, 2008 by hryearWhat keeps people from being wealthy is negative emotional money buttons. Your ‘money buttons’ are buttons that get pressed when you have certain negative thoughts about money. Negative thoughts produce negative experiences that in turn create more negative thoughts and feelings and therefore more negative results. This thought-feeling-response-thought-feeling pattern gets repeated over and over and wears a deep energy pattern into your psyche. It is like playing the same record or tape over and over again.
If you want a new record or tape to play, one that makes you feel good and produces the results you want (financial freedom), you need to remove the old pattern before you install a new one.
Here’s how to defuse the negative money buttons and install new ones
1. Expose your negative money buttons. Complete the checklist in the article, “Expose your money buttons” that you can read here on my website at http://www.innercompass.com.au/content/view/86/45/
2. Conjure up the thoughts and feelings you typically experience around money. Focus your awareness and attention on where the negative feelings around money turn up in your body. For some this is in the chest, head, or neck. For me, it’s in my stomach. It does not matter where it is, just focus on where it shows up for you.
3. Close your eyes and focus your attention on the part that is most intense. Then just put all your attention on what it feels like in that place. After a few minutes open your eyes and notice the difference. Often the feeling dissipates, expands, releases, or shifts. This means you are scrambling the emotional pattern and releasing the energy that has been stuck there for some time.
4. Repeat this exercise every time you have feelings of discomfort around money.
5. At the same time, you can also supersaturate your environment with new beliefs and ideas around money and wealth creation. Read books, articles, magazines about money and wealth creation. Write out your intentions for building wealth - why do you want to be wildly wealthy? Seek out role models who have created what you want to create and learn everything you can about how they did it. Put up pictures and images of the things you want to create and experience as a result of your wealth. This will keep generating feelings of excitement and enthusiasm.
6. The aim of these exercises is to get you feeling good, really good, about money, wealth, and wealth creation. When you feel good, your intuition will guide you to opportunities that will help create whatever it is you desire.
The more you resonate with feelings of excitement, energy, enthusiasm, gratitude, and pleasure when it comes to money thoughts, then the more you will be able to attract and create for yourself. The beauty of this approach is that you feel good from the outset - you feel good visualising your wealth and then your excitement mounts as you implement your plans. Achieving the end result is just as exciting as visualising it. This means there is joy and delight in the creative process. This is what experiencing true abundance is all about.
This is how you feel your way to financial freedom.

Tips On Installing Paneling

There are two types of paneling sold in the market today: sheets and boards. Sheets are typically 4 feet by 8 feet while boards come in widths ranging from 3 and 10 inches and thickness ranging from 3/8 to 7/8 inch thick. Most boards are usually between 1/2 and 3/4 inch thick.
The first step in paneling is to place your materials in the room where they will be installed for two to five days. This will help the paneling wood adjust to the room’s humidity level and eliminate any shrinkage or expansion problems once the panels are secured to the wall.
The next step is preparing the wall. If the wall has a finished wood-frame, you may be able to attach the board panel through the wallboard or plaster to the wall studs. If it does not have a finished wood frame, you will have to attach furring strips to the studs as a base for securing the panels. Make sure the furring strips are plumb and flat so that the sliding will sit evenly and be flat against the wall.
Before installing the paneling, cut each panel 1/4 inch shorter than the distance from the floor to the ceiling. Apply adhesive then start by positioning the panel on the wall, leaving a 1/4 inch space at the bottom, then driving the four nails partway into the wall. Once done, pull the bottom edge of the panel about six inches from the wall. push a block behind the sheet and wait for the adhesive to take hold. Then remove the block, press the panel firmly into place by using a rubber mallet. You can now drive the top-edge nails all the way in and nail the bottom of the panel. Cover the nail heads and the 1/4 inch gap at the bottom with moulding.
Do the same thing with the rest of the panels until all the walls are done.

Aspects of Offshore Outsourcing to Ukraine

Though Eastern Europe occupies only near 5% of world offshoring industry, it shows the highest growth. While the average growth within nearest 3 years will count 25%, Eastern Europe is expected to show nearly 35%.
This, combined with high level of IT services based on strong educational system and scientific heritage of the country, attracts many US, European and other clients to the Ukrainian offshore market. This article aims to depict few aspects of offshoring to Ukraine. We will show you how you can make the whole process of launching the development center or establishing relations with outsourcing services provider with less risks and money & time expenses.
Advantages of Offshoring to Ukraine
Offshoring to Ukraine has several strong advantages.
First of all, Ukraine’s culture is very close to Western values, and it was forming during centuries when Ukraine was the trading and therefore cultural cross road between West and East. Secondly, people who work in IT industry fluently speak English, and some of them also know German, French and Italian, which helps maintaining clear communications with clients from many countries abroad.
As it was noticed before, Ukraine is a country with strong education system and scientific infrastructure, and it lies in the depth of Ukrainian culture: Ukrainian mental schemes presumes digging into the nature of things, establishing unvivid connections and correlations, following intensive way of development instead of extensive. This is especially important in IT, and most of offshoring clients remark the ability of Ukrainian engineers to mine new knowledge and find unobvious solutions to diverse problems. This means that work offshored to Ukraine can have higher intellectual level, which makes offshoring more intensive and therefore profitable.
Major Ukrainian cities have well developed infrastructure, which enables quick entrance onto the market without capital investments.
Disatvantages of Ukrainian Offshoring
Nevertheless, the coin has its back side. Reading about unfavourable areas, you’ll also find our recommendations how to reduce risks and even step into more favourable conditions where others prefer not to operate.
Well developed infrastructure is limited only by major cities. Others don’t have direct airline communication and modern hotels which can make your staying less comfortable. If you decide to explore any regional cities of Ukraine, you’ll have to traavel by bus or train, and either rent an apartment for yourself or live in old hotels which are not marked with any stars. Despite this, we possess the examples of offshore development centers located in smaller (not main) cities and towns of Ukraine which help to reduce costs of ODC operating. Such cities are Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and others. Every of such cities have one or few technical universities where quite strong IT specialists graduate.
Prices could be a disadvantage, too. Hourly rates vary from $15 to $30 and in many cases purchasing offshoring services in Ukraine makes no sence. On the other side, the rates are quite respective to the level of services, and the company wins when redirects more complicated projects and more intellectually complicated tasks to Ukrainian developers.
Bureacratic barriers is another disadvantage, if you decide to launch your own offshore development center. There will be issues concerning taxation, salaries and other things, which are usual to Ukraine but unusual for foreigners. In this case you will have to hire a good specialist on bookkeeping and corporate finance to guide you through relations with governmental organizations with minimum concerns.
Establishing Offshore Development Center
Launching ODC is a good choice for middle and big IT companies with annual turnover of $50 mln and more. Some aspects to which you should pay attention are:
* Property prices. Property market is highly speculative in Ukraine. As of April 2007, prices for purchasing office properties is $2,300 per square meter, for rent - $30+ per square meter per month.
* Situation on HR market. Workforce market demonstrates high intensivity. Much time is needed to find appropriate specialists and you’ll have little time for decision making about every candidate due to high demand for IT sector specialists. Therefore you’ll have to provide candidates with attractive promise including both material and non-material compensation and stimulation.
Finding an Offshore Outsourcing Service Provider
Finding a outsourcing company in Ukraine is a good solution when you want to minimize your investments and risks with high quality of services. Companies which give feedback about working with Ukrainian developers emphasize that at equally high level of final products communication style, management approaches and processes transparency play an important role in the total cost of each project. Offshore outsourcing suppliers pay more and more attention to how business processes are held in the providing company. Side by side with high technical quality, not all companies follow the paradigm of client-oriented management which can yield to additional risks. We recommend to pay attention to such issues:
* Is there a particluar person responsible for the communication processes in the company (account manager) and the final result?
* How staff is treated in the company? Due to great demand for IT specialists inadequate HR policy could cause to workforce flow.
* Transparency and accessibility of both top management and every team of the project. Transparency of team structure.
Comparing Ukraine to Other Global Offshoring Areas
Eastern Europe in all and particularly Ukraine has found its niche in the global offshore outsourcing market. It became to win in quality and “intellectuality” of provided services compared to the services. Due to culture which is closest to Western values, rising quality of management and constatly high level of software development Ukrainian hourly rates, which vary between $15 and $30, rise the total profitability of offshoring to Ukraine.
